Before teaching fulltime, I worked as a local television newscast producer in Jacksonville, Florida, Houston and Washington, D.C. I’ve also freelanced at two stations in the Hartford/New Haven television market. Over the course of my career, I’ve won an Emmy award for “Best Newscast,” a regional Edward R. Murrow award for “Best Newscast,” and a national Edward R. Murrow award for “Best Breaking News Coverage.” Samples of my producing are below.
